2025 – 2026 Wrestling Season Info

There is a new structure for the 2025 – 2026 season based on years of experience and skill level.  There will be Beginner, Fundamentals, and Developed with each level having it’s own benchmark. Every wrestler has the ability to graduate to the next level by demonstrating proficient skills identified as core to each level.  There will be an independent evaluator facilitating the skills assessment and the evaluation will take place once a month throughout the season while wrestlers develop.  If a wrester demonstrates the skills to move to the next level, they’ll join the next level practice sessions at their next scheduled practice. If any skills aren’t achieved at the evaluation, only the skills not achieved will be looked at for the next evaluation.  The goal is to continually show progress throughout the season.

Skill Levels

These skill levels are set up to help wrestlers gain achievement throughout the season and reward those wrestlers showing progression in the sport.   

Beginners:  $100 registration fee   (Practice 2X per week for 1 hour – Tuesday 5:45 PM – 6:45 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 10 AM)

Wrestlers in PreK through Grade 4 with 2 years of experience or less not including the current season will be enrolled in this group.  All of the following skills have to be demonstrated in order to level up to Fundamentals. 

Fundamentals: $125 registration fee   (Practice 2X per week for 1 hour – Monday and Thursday 5:45 PM – 6:45 PM)

Wrestlers up to and including 4th grade with 3 or more years of experience in wrestling not including the current season will be enrolled in this group. They will be working on a fundamental group of wrestling moves that are core to the sport.  All of the beginner level skills will need to be shown by the wrestler and 60% of the Fundamental skills have to be shown by the wrestler at an evaluation in order to level up to Developed. 

Developed: $125 registration fee   (Practice 3X per week for 1.25 hours – Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7:15 – 8:30)

Wrestlers in Grade 5 and Grade 6 will automatically be enrolled in this group.  Typical maturity at this age level lends itself to increased coachability in creating a developed wrestler.  The moves they will practice will involve weekly use of the Beginner moves, Fundamental moves, and Advanced moves that will be tailored to each wrestlers ability and unique style.  Only wrestlers in grades 2 through 6 will be considered for the Developed skill level practices.

Preseason Clinic

We will have 4 practice dates before the season officially starts to help any wrestler that would like to be evaluated up to the next level or just wants some additional practice.  Wrestlers interested in leveling up prior to the start of the season should sign up for this clinic.  Please express your interest in this when you complete your signup along with your preferred evaluation date.  The clinic dates are 11/11, 11/13, 11/18, and 11/20 from 6pm to 7 pm

Evaluation Dates - 11/18 and 11/20 @ 6 PM for wrestlers leveling up before the regular season.  Please select your date at signup.  Additional evaluation dates will occur throughout the season. You’ll need to notify your level coach prior to the evaluation for attendance purposes
